This poster is meant to be used as promotional material for the upcoming release of the album "reputation (Taylor's Version)" from Taylor Swift. She has been rerecording her previously released albums to finally own the masters of all of her albums.
This promotional poster was a project for my final course on Adobe Photoshop, while studying at British Columbia Institute of Technology. The theme/subject was up to each individual to pick. We had a list of technical requirements that we had to follow. This project was worked on over a process of two weeks, with feedback from our fellow students and our teacher.
By looking at the technical requirements, I started my process by picking the idea and searching for all the elements. I quickly had an idea in mind of the final result. Most of the work was scouting the internet in the hopes of finding the pictures and layer styles I needed to create my vision. I got inspired by the actual cover for "reputation" by Taylor Swift, so I used a similar vibe while making it new and exciting for the fans as a teaser for the upcoming rerecording.
